Octans evaluates whether an evidence-backed compatibility graph can reveal cross-service change risk before deployment.
It compares an OpenAPI change with repository evidence, maps affected consumers, estimates blast radius, and recommends provider compatibility or coordinated migration. Every result is evidence-backed and reviewed by a human.
This is an experiment, not a production system. Interfaces, storage formats, and results may change without notice.
Safe operating boundary
- Check-only by default; no production writes or auto-merge.
- Repairs are proposals for human review.
- Scanned source and credentials stay in the operator-controlled run boundary; only bounded redacted evidence is retained.
